THE PATIENT HAS THE RIGHT TO:
\n<\/strong><\/span>1) The right to preventive measures against illness;
\n2) The right to access healthcare services;
\n3) The right to correct, complete, and accessible information;
\n4) The right to informed consent;
\n5) The right to freely choose the healthcare provider and physician;
\n6) The right to respect for private life and data confidentiality;
\n7) The right to respect for their time, including through appointment scheduling and reduced waiting time;
\n8) The right to medical services that comply with quality standards;
\n9) The right to safety of medical care;
\n10) The right to access modern diagnostic and treatment methods;
\n11) The right to prevention and reduction of unjustified suffering and pain;
\n12) The right to individualized treatment;
\n13) The right to file complaints and notify competent authorities;
\n14) The right to compensation for damages caused;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
\n<\/strong><\/span>a) taking care of their own health and adopting a healthy lifestyle, avoiding intentional actions that may harm their own health or the health of others;<\/p>\n

b) complying with precautionary measures in interactions with other persons, including medical staff, in cases where the patient is aware of having a disease posing a social risk;<\/p>\n

c) undergoing, in the absence of medical contraindications, mandatory preventive measures, including immunization, the failure of which may pose a risk to their own health and public health;<\/p>\n

d) fully informing the medical staff about all past and existing illnesses, including diseases posing a social risk, as well as in cases of voluntary donation of blood, biological fluids, organs, or tissues;<\/p>\n

e) complying with the rules of conduct established within the healthcare institution and following the physician\u2019s instructions during the treatment period;<\/p>\n

f) avoiding the use of pharmaceutical products and medicinal substances without the prescription and consent of the attending physician, including narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and alcohol during treatment within the healthcare institution;<\/p>\n

g) respecting the rights and dignity of other patients and healthcare staff.<\/p>\n

In case of a serious violation by the patient of the rules of treatment and conduct within the healthcare institution, which has caused material or moral damage, the patient shall bear responsibility in accordance with the applicable legislation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PATIENT OBLIGATIONS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– to respect and maintain order within the healthcare institution;<\/p>\n

– to show respect towards healthcare staff;<\/p>\n

– to follow the recommendations of the attending physician;<\/p>\n

– not to bring or consume alcoholic beverages within the healthcare institution;<\/p>\n

– not to smoke on the premises of the institution.<\/p>\n
